We visited a very sunny Parc Ynysderw on Sunday, 13 November 2022 to photograph the FAW Youth Cup Round 3 match between Pontardawe Town and Wrexham AFC.
In an entertaining encounter between two very competitive under 18 teams, it was Wrexham who progressed to the Fourth Round of the FAW Youth Cup after a hard fought 2-1 win over Pontardawe.
Caleb Hughes and an own goal saw the Robins home, after Dylan Jones had brought the home side level in the first half.
The game ended in controversy however as referee Daniel Richardson sent off Wrexham’s Michael Hayman for a second bookable offence, before sending off one of the Wrexham coaching staff.
