We visited the CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach on Sunday, 15 January 2023 to photograph the FAW Academy South Under 13 League game between Risca United Academy Under 13 and FAW Girls Academy South Under 15.
On a sunny but cold morning in Ystrad Mynach, Risca United and the FAW Girls Academy South produced an entertaining and competitive game in front of a decent crowd.
Both teams had their chances to win the game, but it was perhaps fitting that the game ended in a 1-1 draw, as neither side really deserved to lose what was an evenly matched and close encounter.
