We made our first visit of the year to the Swansea City Academy in Landore on Saturday, 4 February 2023 to photograph the Under 18 Professional Development League match between Swansea City and Millwall.
Millwall Under 18s arrived in Landore in second place in Professional Development League South, having beaten league leaders Charlton last weekend.
However it was the Swans who scored the opening goal of the game as Iwan Morgan found space on the right before laying off the ball for Geoff Bony score from close range.
The Swans half-time lead didn’t last long however, as the Lions drew level through Alfie Massey just after the interval.
With both sides pushing for the win, the Swans looked to be on their way to all three points when Bony turned provider this time for Morgan, whose shot from outside the box beat George Evans in the Millwall goal.
With time running out, the visitors grabbed the all important equaliser through the unmarked Kawali Heywood, which meant both sides had to settle for a point in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
