A young Swansea City side were well beaten in their penultimate Group G Premier League Cup fixture by category one academy Stoke City at Landore.

The visitors went into the break 2-0 up thanks to a first half brace from Nathan Lowe. The striker then scored another brace in the second half to complete his hat-trick, as Stoke ran out comfortable 4-0 winners on a disappointing afternoon for the home side.
