We visited the JOMA High Performance Centre in Landore on Saturday, 14 September 2024, to photograph the Under 18 Professional Development League fixture between Swansea City and Wigan Athletic.
Swansea City Under 18s fell to their first home defeat of the season as Wigan Athletic won 2-1 at a sun drenched Landore.
A slow start from the home side, saw them two goals down within the opening 25 minutes, as Oscar Harris and then Harrison Bettoni scored for the Latics to give them a well deserved 2-0 lead at the interval.
The Swans rallied after the break and reduced the deficit less than 10 minutes into the second half thanks to an Aidan Higgins strike. Despite continuing to apply pressure for long periods, the home side were unable to find an equaliser.
