The D-Day Cycle Ride is a fundraising event for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, with the money raised helping servicemen and women, veterans and their families in need following present day conflicts.
The event, which is being delivered by White Rock Events, needed a website to promote the charity bike ride, which will commemorate the cycling soldiers and the part they played on 6 June 1944 and the following Battle of Normandy.
We developed the D Day website using WordPress and integrated it with Gravity Forms to deliver the rider registration functionality, as well as the Stripe online payments processing system, in order to take the registration fee payments on the website.
The MailChimp automated email marketing solution was also integrated into the website, to provide an easy way for White Rock Events and SSAFA to deliver important email newsletters to registrants and interested parties alike.
