Swansea City fell to a 4-1 defeat against Burnley in the Under 18 Professional Development League at Landore.

The Clarets started strong with a goal from Benji Wetshi in the opening minute. In the second half, Lucas Wane added two more goals, one from the penalty spot, before Brandon Ly scored a stunner to secure a comfortable win for the visitors.

Sammy Henia Kamau managed to pull one back for the Swans with a late close-range finish, but it was only a consolation.

Despite an effort from Brogan Popham that was disallowed for offside, the Swans couldn’t change the final outcome.
