We made our first ever visit to Lliswerry football club in Newport on Wednesday, 7 August, to photograph the pre-season friendly fixture between the FAW Girls Academy South Under 17 and Hartpury College.
The FAW Girls Academy South welcomed Hartpury College to Newport in what was a well contested pre-season friendly between the teams.
Despite the FAW Girls Academy Under 17s dominating possession for long periods of the game, it was the visitors who claimed victory thanks to a goal just minutes before the half time interval.
