We made our first ever visit to Aberavon Harlequins RFC on Saturday, 6 July 2024 to photograph the JES Group Rugby League Conference game between Aberavon Fighting Irish and Torfaen Tigers.
Aberavon Fighting Irish secured a comprehensive 40-6 victory over Torfaen Tigers on a warm but windy afternoon at Aberavon Harlequins RFC.
A physical display from the home side at the ‘concrete cage’ saw them race into a 26-0 half time lead, and they continued in the same vein in the second half.
To their credit the Tigers never gave up and were rewarded with a consolation try late in the game.
