We made a visit to Neath Sports Centre on Sunday, 12 December 2021 to capture action from the Genero Adran South match between Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies and Merthyr Town Women.
It may have been an overcast, grey December day in Neath but this Adran South encounter certainly wasn’t dull, with both sides battling for the festive 3 points on offer.
Despite Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies eventually running out 6-0 winners (3-0 at half-time), Merthyr never gave up and played the last 20 odd minutes of the match with only 10 players, after goalkeeper Lauren Fenaroli had to leave the field due to injury.
