We spent an enjoyable afternoon photographing a very entertaining Women’s friendly football match between FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division Cardiff City Ladies and FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands Boldmere St Michaels Women at the CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach on Sunday, 2 May 2021.
Despite Women’s National League Tier 4 side Boldmere St Michaels taking a well deserved 4-2 lead at half-time against their Tier 3 opponents, thanks to some stunning long distance strikes, the Cardiff City Ladies stormed back in the second half to eventually win a thoroughly entertaining game 5-4.
