Easter Sunday saw us make a visit to the Centre of Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach for the Vitality Women’s FA Cup Second Round game between Cardiff City Ladies and Oxford United Women.
A goal after just two minutes from Oxford United Women’s midfielder Georgia Brown, was enough to book the U’s a place in the third round of the Women’s FA Cup at the expense of fellow FA Women’s National League South side Cardiff City Ladies at a warm and sunny Ystrad Mynach.
