We couldn’t have picked a better time to make our first visit to the Cyncoed Campus than the top of the table Welsh Premier Women’s League clash between Cardiff Met Women and Swansea City Ladies on Wednesday, 21 April 2021.
As you’d imagine the game was a keenly contested affair with the Swans Ladies on top in the first half and Cardiff Met coming more and more into the game in the second half. Ultimately, Met were indebted to goalkeeper Annabel Sweeney who made several key saves, including a first half penalty from Chloe Chivers.
