With pre-season well underway for most football teams, we visited Coed Gwylim Park in Clydach on Tuesday, 25 July 2023, to photograph the pre-season friendly between West Wales Premier League side Clydach and Llanelli Town Academy.
The summer sunshine made a welcome return to the Swansea valley, as visitors Llanelli dominated the opening 45 minutes and were well worth their 2-0 half-time lead.
It really was a game of two halves however, as the home side came roaring back in the second half to score twice, with the equaliser coming from the penalty spot.
The 2-2 draw was probably a fair result in what was a useful pre-season workout for both sides in warm conditions.
