We visited the USW Sport Park in Pontypridd on Sunday, 14 September 2025, to photograph the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division fixture between Gwalia United and AFC Bournemouth.

League leaders Bournemouth proved too strong for Gwalia United, running out 3-0 winners at a very wet and windswept University of Wales Sports Park.
The unbeaten Cherries were against the elements in the first half but still managed to strike the woodwork twice before the break.
They eventually broke through on 51 minutes when Jenna Markham finished off a spell of pressure to beat Benedicte Haland. Sophie Quirk then struck twice in the final quarter to seal the points for the visitors.
