Swansea City’s Under-21s kicked off their Professional Development League campaign in style, securing an impressive victory over Crewe Alexandra at Landore, thanks to a dominant second-half performance.

After a tightly contested first half, the Swans exploded into action after the break, scoring four goals to take control of the match. Glory Nzingo was the star of the show, netting a remarkable 15-minute hat-trick to put the game beyond doubt.

His clinical finishing was complemented by a goal from Thomas Woodward, last season’s top scorer for the under-18s, who continued his fine form by getting on the scoresheet.

The victory marks a promising start to the campaign for the Swans, who will no doubt look to build on an encouraging performance.
