The Swans took the lead in the south Wales derby thanks to Josh Carey’s strike just before the half-hour mark, but it was the high flying visitors who led at the break thanks to two goals in quick succession from Japhet Matondo and Tanatswa Nyakuhwa.

Despite the Swans having numerous chances and pushing hard for an equaliser, two further goals for Tanatswa Nyakuhwa gave the striker his hat-trick and secured all three points for the Bluebirds in a 4-1 win at Landore.
