With us also covering the Swansea City Under 16 game against Bristol Rovers Under 16 – which kicked off at the same time – our coverage of the Under 18 fixture wasn’t as comprehensive as usual.

Swansea City’s Under-18s secured a triumph over high flying Professional Development League North Sheffield United at Landore, thanks to second-half goals from Kyrell Wilson and Iwan Morgan. With this victory, the Swans’ unbeaten streak now extends to seven games.

After being brought on as a substitute, Wilson wasted no time making an impact as he scored a powerful header just four minutes later. However, the young Blades quickly equalized through George Dickinson’s spot-kick.

But the home side didn’t let up, and Wilson reclaimed the lead for the Swans when he found the back of the net with less than 20 minutes left on the clock. Morgan then sealed the victory in stoppage time.

In addition to the win, the Swans also welcomed back Jack Cooper and Charlie Veevers to their matchday squad, after both players had been out of action for an extended period.
