We visited the JOMA High Performance Centre in Landore on Friday, 18 April 2025, to photograph the Under 18 Professional Development League fixture between Swansea City and AFC Bournemouth.
Swansea City Under-18s produced a dramatic late comeback to seal a remarkable 4-3 win over Bournemouth in torrential conditions Landore.
Yori Griffith opened the scoring with a classy first-time finish, but the Cherries levelled before the break, before taking a 2-1 lead midway through the second half.
Billy Clarke struck back almost immediately to make it 2-2, but Bournemouth responded again with 10 minutes to go. Debutant Bobby Lewis then pulled the Swans level once more from close range, before substitute Harvey Gray netted a dramatic winner in added time, after some great work by substitute Callum Jones.
It was a gutsy and spirited display from a very young Swans side, who refused to give in and were rewarded with all three points in incredible fashion.
