We made our first ever visit to the Gaughan Group Stadium, the home of Leyton Orient FC, in London on Sunday, 19 January 2025 to photograph the Barclays Women’s Super League game between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City.

On a cold and overcast afternoon at Brisbane Road, an early own goal by goalkeeper Janina Leitzig handed Tottenham a 1-0 victory over Leicester City in the Women’s Super League, giving them a winning start to 2025.
Leitzig inadvertently turned Amanda Nilden’s deflected cross into her own net after excellent work by Maite Oroz in the build-up.
The Foxes missed a golden chance to equalize, when captain Janice Cayman failed to convert an open goal from six yards.
Spurs goalkeeper Lize Kop, making her debut against her former side, was largely untroubled, with Leicester’s best opportunity falling to Missy Goodwin after the hour mark.
Despite only registering their first official shot 70 minutes into the game, Spurs extended their unbeaten league run to three matches.
