Wales secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Finland in their play-off semi-final, setting up a showdown with Poland for a place at Euro 2024.

David Brooks opened the scoring early on, volleying in the rebound from Harry Wilson’s shot. Neco Williams extended Wales’ lead with a stunning curling free-kick before Teemu Pukki pulled one back for Finland before halftime.

Any Welsh nerves were settled when Brennan Johnson tapped in from Brooks’ shot early in the second half. Despite having a Ben Davies goal disallowed, Robert Page’s side sealed the win comfortably, with substitute Daniel James adding a fourth goal on his 50th cap.
