Victoria Road Stadium was our destination on Sunday, 16 May 2021 for the Welsh Premier Women’s League game between Port Talbot Town Ladies and visitors Cyncoed Ladies.
In an entertaining game, the lead changed hands three times before the home side managed to grab a last minute equaliser through Jesci Hare, who completed her hattrick and then got sent off for a second yellow card – for her goal celebration!
Jesci Hare of Port Talbot Town Ladies and Alison Witts of Cyncoed Ladies between them scored five of the six goals scored during the game, which was a great advert for Women’s football.
