Swansea City Under-21s began 2025 in style with an impressive victory over Colchester United at the Joma High Performance Centre.

The young Swans controlled the game from the outset, with Kyrell Wilson winning and confidently converting a penalty to open the scoring.

Thomas Woodward doubled the lead, slotting home from a pinpoint Sammy Henia-Kamau cross. Although Colchester briefly responded through Alfie Bendle, Wilson quickly restored Swansea’s two-goal advantage, once again assisted by Henia-Kamau.

Morgan Bates sealed the win late on with a stunning long-range effort, capping off a strong all-around performance and securing three points for the hosts.
