We made our first visit of the 2022-2023 football season to the Swansea City Academy in Landore on Saturday, 20 August 2022 to photograph the Under 18 Professional Development League match between Swansea City and Coventry City.

The game was Swans first Under 18 home league game of the season and they were looking to bounce back from last week’s opening league defeat at Barnsley.
Kyrell Wilson got the Swans off to a perfect start after putting the home side ahead in the 18th minute in front of a sizeable crowd at Landore.
However the visitors never gave up and eventually were rewarded with all three points, with with a goal in each half from Tristen Batanwi and substitute Aidan Dausch.
