We visited the Swansea.com stadium in Swansea on Friday, 13 March 2026, to photograph the Under 21 Professional Development League game between Swansea City and Cardiff City.

Swansea City Under-21s kept their impressive Swansea.com Stadium record intact after sharing the spoils with Cardiff City in a 1–1 Professional Development League draw.
Dan Watts broke the deadlock with a well-struck free kick, only for Jake Davies to level for the visitors just six minutes later in a first half that rarely lacked for incident.
Anthony Wright’s young Swans were a consistent threat going forward, with Tom Woodward causing Cardiff’s backline no end of trouble. The attacker drew a string of saves from Bluebirds goalkeeper Daniel Higgs and came agonisingly close to restoring Swansea’s lead when his effort cannoned back off the post.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Swansea maintaining the initiative. Fresh impetus came from the bench in the form of Aimar Govea, who made his first home appearance since returning from a loan stint at Girona and brought a welcome injection of pace and directness on the flank. Chances came and went at both ends, however, and a winner ultimately proved elusive as the sides settled for a point apiece in SA1.
